One of my good friends shared this with me this morning.  Abby Wambach is a retired American soccer player, who was part of the team that won the 2015 World Cup.  She gave the commencement address at the Barnard, which is a New York City Woman’s college.

Her 4 rules of success are:

Rule No. 1: Make failure your fuel.

Rule No. 2: Lead from the bench.

Rule No. 3: Champion each other.

Fourth rule: Demand the ball.

Most of us are afraid of failure but she articulates how she uses it as motivation.  Remember, you only fail if you don’t keep going.

Here’s her commencement address.  Enjoy!
