I May Have MS but MS doesn’t have me

“What stands in the way becomes the way.”

– Marcus Aurelius

When I was diagnosed with MS, a storm of emotions hit me like a freight train — fear, sorrow, disbelief. I mourned the version of me I thought I lost… I still do..

There were moments when I felt like damaged goods, unsure of what my future held.

But then I remembered:

This isn’t the end of my story — it’s the turning point.

MS doesn’t define who I am.

It challenged me to reimagine how I live, work, and show up in the world — and I accepted that challenge head-on.

I began to rebuild.

✅ I restarted my business with purpose.

✅ I created a new path that honors my strengths.

✅ I stopped apologizing for my limits and started owning my fire.

And that fire? It lit during one of my lowest moments — Christmas Eve 2024 — when the pain was so intense I couldn’t even eat.

That’s a big deal in an Italian family.

But instead of breaking, I wrote.

I created.

I chose to move Forward with Fire. 🔥

MS isn’t just physical.

It’s emotional. It’s invisible. It’s unpredictable.

But it’s also a lens — one that’s sharpened my clarity, deepened my empathy, and given me a strength I never knew I had.

For years, I pushed through unexplained fatigue, brain fog, and anxiety in high-stress environments — thinking I just had to “try harder.”

Now I understand: I wasn’t weak. I was fighting a battle I couldn’t name.

Today, I’m not fighting MS — I’m partnering with my reality.

Adapting. Evolving. Leading.

I may have MS…

But MS doesn’t have me.

To every MS Warrior reading this — I see you.

Keep moving forward. Keep showing up.

Our fire doesn’t fade.  That’s our strength. That’s our fire.

🔥 Forward with Fire. 🔥
