Hi, I’m Anthony Lobosco. In March 2023, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Not long after, I got hit with Trigeminal Neuralgia, a rare nerve condition that feels like your face is on fire during a flare. Only about 5% of people with MS get it. I always knew I was unique, but…

Still, I know others have it worse. That perspective keeps me grounded. My mom always said, “You’ve got the best of the worst.” Right now, she’s right – and I remind myself there are millions who’d trade places with me in a heartbeat. One of the many things that keeps me grateful.

But I know MS is highly unpredictable, so I cherish the opportunity to make an impact everyday.  Tomorrow could be different.

I’m now just over two years into this journey, and some days it still feels new. Some days, I grieve the version of me I thought I was before the diagnosis. That’s mourning and it’s real.

Shortly after I was diagnosed, a dear friend told me,

“This is bigger than you, Anthony.”

That’s why I started the Threading MS Journeys podcast for anyone newly diagnosed, searching for answers or simply someone who gets it. Because no one should feel alone in this. Not on my watch. I know my MS family feels the same…  we all do our part and it’s amazing.

The nerve pain, the fire, is why I call this space Forward with Fire.

Because we don’t stand still.

We move through it.

I wrote this after a bad flare-up… December ’24 through February ’25. The kind of pain that stops you cold. Makes you face (pun intended) the truth:

This isn’t going away.  It’s ALWAYS lingering in the background.

And neither is the fear that the pain is coming back – because it will.

But here’s the surprise:

That fear became my fuel.

Once you live through that level of pain, you stop waiting. Waiting for the perfect conditions. The right moment. You realize this is the moment.

🔥 The fire that tried to break me… now drives me.

🔥 It’s why I’m here – to build, share, and connect with anyone walking their own version of this road.

Because whether it’s MS, chronic illness, or just life hitting harder than expected – you’re not alone.

Here’s what I’ve learned and maybe it helps you too:

✔ You can take back control, even when your body says otherwise.

✔ You can find people who truly get it.

✔ You can stop waiting and start moving forward.

✔ You can turn pain into purpose, impact, even new opportunities.

I’ve learned to build around my energy… not fight it.

To focus on impact… not ego.

To build a life that aligns with what matters most: family, health, meaningful work.

I do this through frameworks that include meditation, automation and connecting with people constantly.

And crazy as it sounds? It doesn’t hold you back from abundance.  It unlocks it.

I’m still figuring it out – building the parachute on the way down. But it’s working. And if sharing this helps someone else take a step forward, that’s the point.

👉 You don’t need to have it all figured out to move.

👉 Your pain doesn’t define you but it can drive you.

👉 Most importantly – you’re not in this alone.

Forward with Fire is a mindset:

✅ Choosing resilience, even on the hard days.

✅ Competing differently – because we have to.

✅ Building something meaningful – without losing ourselves.

If this hits… reach out. Share your story. No one should have to figure this out alone.

🔥 Welcome to Forward with Fire. 🔥
